Mrs. Daryl George

Mrs. Daryl L. George is a graduate of Springfield College in Springfield, MA where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and Health. Mrs. George later continued her education at Fairleigh Dickinson University and received her Master’s in Educational Leadership and obtained her Principal’s certificate.  Prior to being hired at Tenafly Middle School, Mrs. George taught Physical Education and Health in Longmeadow and Springfield School Districts in Massachusetts. Since returning to New Jersey in 1995, she taught Physical Education and Family Life and coached athletics in the Tenafly School District.  She served as the Tenafly Middle School, Vice Principal from 2016- 2020.  Mrs. George and her husband enjoy spending time with their two daughters. Mrs. George greatly enjoys her experiences leading as Principal of J. Spencer Smith Elementary School. She loves coming to school each day where she learns, finds challenges, and has fun along with outstanding students, faculty, and staff.
